target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>University of Gastronomic Sciences<\/strong><\/a> in Pollenzo allowed us to engage with Italian and international companies, gaining a deeper understanding of their specific needs and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For us, it has been a time of <strong>ACTIVE LISTENING to the market<\/strong>, which has revealed a growing interest among retailers and the food industry in transitioning <strong>from petrochemical-based food packaging solutions to cellulose-based solutions with barrier properties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>This evolution is not a passing trend, but a structural transformation of the sector, driven by the convergence of two main factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Regulatory drivers<\/em><\/strong>, with the <strong>European PPWR<\/strong> (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) imposing increasingly stringent requirements on recyclability, packaging reduction, and sustainability across the entire life cycle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em><strong>Market drivers, <\/strong><\/em>represented by an increasingly aware and informed end consumer who demands sustainable,
